Benin has had no shortage of internal & external conflict from varying political forces over the last century. The country also has a strong French connection - Benin came under administrative control by France up until the 1950s. It should be no surprise that some French camo influence has kept up with Benin's military equipment. These duffel bags covered in a French like 'lizard camo' have come brand new from our supplier in France. It would seem France is still supplying much gear to former French controlled Africa.
As for the bags - these are really well made. Thick cotton canvas build, well reinforced carry handle and adjustable shoulder strap. The opening is secured by joining all the metal eyelets together over the top of a metal loop and joining the shoulder strap clip on. An internal 'snow' cover flap will help stop any contents from slipping out. A fantastic quality bag for transporting large amounts of goods. Benin military gear is not exactly overflowing in the surplus market, let alone in brand new unissued condition - so grab a Benin duffel bag today!
